Children With A Heart After God
Enjoying time together and learning what it means to be a Jesus follower
Whether it is virtual education, social media, or online gaming, every time our children get on their devices, they are opening the door to the many dangers on the internet. Glen Buckley and his team at 731 Investigations have made it a priority to help educate parents, teachers, and students on these dangers while still being able to enjoy the benefits of technology.
At Northbrook Church, we want to do whatever it takes to keep our children safe, and are thrilled to be hosting Glen and his team. Sessions of 4th-6th graders, 7th-12th graders, and parents will be offered to increase awareness of online dangers. This event is free, and childcare is provided. Boxed lunches can be purchased for $5. Please register by clicking below.
Our mission is to lead children to know Jesus Christ as their personal leader, forgiver and friend, and to develop and strengthen Christ-like relationships with others, at home, at school, and at church.

What's On For Kids?
There is much fun and activity to be had on Sundays. We offer a nursery for ages 6 weeks to 18 months and children’s programming for ages 18 months to 6th
grade. Children ages three and up spend 15 minutes worshiping in the Big Room with their families before heading off to their age-specific classes. In their classes, they spend time singing, making craft p
rojects, memorizing scripture, as well as reading and studying the Bible using the Gospel Project curriculum.
Jesus the Savior
Our Wednesday night program is for children ages three years through 6th grade. It is a great time for kids to connect with each other and grow spiritually. We meet from 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Wednesday nights of the month. Three different classes are offered: Mission Friends, Girls’ Club, and Royal Ambassadors.
Mission Friends3 years to Kindergarten – Our preschoolers and kindergarteners learn about missions right here at home and all around the world. They work together to take part in a mission project each December.
Girls’ Club1st through 6th Grade Girls – The girls have a lot of fun learning a variety of creative and recreational skills. They also study the Bible, learn about mission work, pray for each other and participate in a mission project each December.
Royal Ambassadors1st through 6th Grade Boys – The boys have a great time learning a variety of useful skills and participating in outdoor recreation. As with the other Wednesday night classes, the boys study the Bible, learn about mission work, pray together and take part in a mission project each December.
Creative Arts Camp
This is an extra special event that happens in the 3rd week in June every other year. 1st through 6th graders spend five days with us going through a pre-selected portion of scripture, and learning how to portray it creatively. This is a time for kids to come together, learn, have fun, grow in confidence and express themselves in fulfilling and creative ways. Classes are offered in music, dance, art, drama, sign language, and hospitality. The highlight of the week is the Creative Arts Camp Worship Service that takes place the following Sunday night.

In the summer, we have our Summer Party Spree which includes parties such as Messy Mania, Tie Dying, Missions Madness and Beach Bash, as well as a week long day camp where kids are immersed in Biblical learning.
