Kingdom Kids are children who are learning what it means to be a Jesus follower.
Our Mission Statement is: to lead children to know Jesus Christ as their personal leader, forgiver and friend, and to develop and strengthen Christ-like relationships with others, at home, at school and at church.
We offer a nursery for ages 6 weeks to 18 months and children's programming for ages 18 months to 6th grade. Children ages three and up spend 15 minutes worshiping in the Big Room with their families before they are dismissed to their age specific classes. In their classes, they read and study the Bible using Children Desiring God curriculum. They also spend time memorizing scripture, making craft projects, and singing. Sunday service starts at 10:30 am.
Our Wednesday night programming is for children ages three through 6th grade. It is from 6:15 to 7:45 and meets on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Wednesday nights of the month. Three different classes are offered, each with a missions focus.
Mission Friends – 3 years to Kindergarten - Our preschoolers and kindergarteners learn about missions right here at home and all around the world. They work together to take part in a mission project each December.
Girls’ Club - 1st through 6th Grade Girls – Our school age girls have a lot of fun learning a variety of creative and recreational skills. They also study the Bible, learn about mission work, pray for each other and participate in a mission project during December.
Royal Ambassadors - 1st through 6th Grade Boys – Our school age boys have a great time learning a variety of useful skills and participating in outdoor recreation. As with the other Wednesday night classes, the boys study the Bible, learn about mission work, pray together and take part in a mission project.
Creative Arts Camp
This is an extra special event that happens every 3rd week in June. 1st through 6th graders spend four days with us going through a preselected portion of scripture, learning how to portray it creatively. Classes are offered in music, dance, art, drama, sign language, and hospitality. The highlight of the week is the Creative Arts Camp Worship Service that takes place the following Sunday night.
Other Special Events
Throughout the year we have a variety of fun events for all our children. In the fall, we usually have an outdoor event that includes a bonfire, hotdogs, marshmallows, and chocolate. In the winter, we spend an afternoon at a local skating rink. In the spring, we have another outdoor event to celebrate Easter and new life. In the summer, we have our Summer Party Spree which includes parties such as Messy Mania, Tie Dying, Missions Madness and Beach Bash. Our Girls’ Club and Royal Ambassador groups also have various events as well.
